The University of Leipzig’s privacy policy applies to the RISC website.
With the exception of the data mentioned below, no data is collected about visitors to our websites that could potentially be used to identify a natural person.
If personal data is collected within the RISC website (e.g., when registering for events), consent is requested in advance.
If personal data is processed by RISC in individual cases, any affected person may at any time request information about the personal data processed and the possible recipients to whom this data has been transmitted. RISC must provide this information within one month of receiving the request.
We have taken all necessary and appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that data protection regulations are complied with within RISC. However, if you believe that your right to the protection of personal data has been violated by RISC, you can contact the data protection officer at the University of Leipzig or the Saxony Data Protection Officer as the complaints office.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the internet, especially via email, is currently largely unsecured. It cannot be ruled out that transmitted data may be accessed by unauthorized persons and possibly even falsified.
